It's not sexual education, it's sex education. So, it's not karma sutra versus what is sex and everything that goes with it.

The one thing I truly miss about debate is the so-called intellectually argue about a topic. And the recent argument I have been judging in my head is about sex education. Even though the previous post was about sex, doesn’t mean I’m a horny bitch. Since about two months past, the Malaysian government has been arguing about establishing sex education in school for our youths, like, no duh.

The issue to establish sex education subject for our youths came from the most popular topic; teenage pregnancy and illegal abortion. You know, you were horny, you had sex whether or not it was making love or just plain sex with no feelings attached and then 3 months later, viola! You’re pregnant! Phew, that wasn’t so bad, was it? Except that now, you gotta get rid of that ‘thing’ that’s growing inside of you. How? Well, there’s always the sewers, the dump, the garbage bin or even the toilet bowl even! How convenient, they happened to be there.

I have nothing against having sex. As we have always heard; pandai buat, pandai tanggung. However, what I really do have something against is the fact that there is no sense of humanity and responsibility. Looking at a perception, morally, unmarried girl teens being pregnant is fairly wrong, doesn’t matter what religion you are; Muslim or not. Every religion do teach the meaning of each soul and how precious each life is. They are not meant to be created and be thrown away like they’re your unfinished double cheeseburger.

Source: beccacc

The issues are there and so is the solution. We’re not Westerners and I am aware of that but does anyone actually know what sex education is all about? The term ‘sex education’ is so widely used but the meaning is so vague for our Malaysian. Sex education is not about teaching ‘how to have sex’, instead it’s about ‘how to have save sex’ a.k.a how to avoid being impregnated and throwing more innocent souls in the drains where it is all mashed up with your digested sushis and bubur lambok.

If the government is so worried about youths having sex, don’t be. Worry more on how many more innocent lives will be sacrificed because of the youths’ immaturity. Stop looking at only one view. Take a look at many other levels. If you say that our youths are our future leaders then shouldn’t the government and the society start looking after the youths and finding ways to guide and educate them? All for Wawasan 2020.

Sex education is where they teach everything about safe sex and it’s not only about using condoms but also most importantly on how to check if you’re pregnant. That’s where pregnancy test and birth pills comes in. Whether or not those who are having sex want to have sex and not practice safe sex, let them, that’s none of nobody’s business. But, if they still cause an innocent life to be drained away, then, that’s where the line, “I told you so,” comes in.

You can’t stop everyone to abide what you say but you can take in the safety measures. It’s time for us to change or as what Malaysians always say; take it slow. It makes me wonder, honestly, is taking it slow all that we have got to say when the world is changing so rapidly and time waits for nobody?

This issue is huge and not to be waited by religion and politic democracy. You want better youths for the future, start thinking from the bottom of your hearts. Social acceptance and support by family and friends are at the top of the chart. This coming from my own experience, I have friends that had gotten impregnated and being discriminated and also being shoo-ed by their families. So much for ‘family will never leave you’.

I know I sounded cynical and very anti-whatever but everyone has been denying what’s real. He says this is right and another he says that this other one right. Stop arguing amongst ourselves and look at what’s important. 5 years from now, will our sewers, garbage bins and dumping sites be flooded with babies?

I woke up this morning feeling as gorgeous as Carrie Bradshaw. The one thing I admire about her character is how understanding and open she is and the thing that made sense to me while watching SATC was, “hey, what she said is true,” and trust me, this isn’t included in being a women’s right activist. Call me sexist but hey, that’s why we have demographic study and it includes gender.

Plus, when I look back, why haven’t I written anything interesting and letting out what I really feel. So much for gatekeeping. As soon as I realised this, the most important things is to get my thoughts straight out; what am I most dissatisfied about and what I want to share with you. From the bottom of my heart, what I really want to share with you today is about sexuality and screw censorship, it includes blow job.

The thing that I learn from observing, listening and experiencing relationships is that sexuality is involved either orally or just plain sex in the office or in bed. And the thing I also know is that men generally enjoy blow job than getting in bed. There’s no fuss to answer it, it is very simple, no fuss needed and you’re ready to go once you’re done ‘coming’. Perfect for ‘come’ and go.

In general, what I also know is that not every woman likes giving one. And the weirdest thing that a woman could ever be afraid of is having this inferiority that she would be dumped just because she refused giving the guy a blow job. How convenient. So, girls, you want to get dumped, don’t give him a blow job.

But, it is also empowering to feel that women can make a man go crazy. Let’s look at the mathematics here. When a man wants a blow job, it doesn’t matter if it’s from a random girl that he gets at the bar or if it’s his girlfriend or wife, the fact that he needs to ‘cum’ and imagine the woman stopped half way or maybe get him to do you first and you walk away while he was already ‘up’. Now, that is hell yeah!

It is a twisted logic but it’s what we call the cycle of nature. Another cynical thought would be his fantasies. Speaking in general again, one of his fantasies would be having threesome. Wait, not with another guy but with another woman. That means, yeah, he would love to see his woman being a lesbian for once. As Taylor Swift and Boys like Girls said, “two is better than one”.

A message for most guys who owns that fantasy, a woman can get kinky but it will be as much as to assume but, we mainly like to have our guy just to ourselves and it is just because. Just imagine having threesome but not as the math of 1 woman + 1 woman + 1 man but 1 woman + 1 man + 1 man. Yeah, I won’t hate Taylor Swift for her say on two is better than one.

Strangely, as much as most women hates giving blow jobs and more hateful for threesome, I’d have to say that almost half ended up giving in. The persuasion goes two ways; ‘it doesn’t hurt to learn’ and ‘for me/because I love you’.

It pains me to say this but true enough, most women are suckers for those fucked up lines. I know that throughout the whole post, I sounded like a damn sexist and I am speaking in general term but how general is it, nobody knows. But I can assure you, a bit more than half was based on personal experience; friends and myself.

The inner mind of men are three things; smoke, boost and sex.

I am not saying there are no decent men out there who are not just about running away from commitment and all about women but those decent men are still men but the difference is that they stick to one woman and are committed to that one woman and probably he doesn’t smoke or drink. The main point is, men will always be men and sex is number one in both of their brains; the brain in the head skull and the brain in his pants. Mind you, but the brain in his pants works more often than his brain in his skull. Yeah, I just sound like a God damn sexist.

P.s: I’m a very straight woman. No harm done, just truth and information <3

Paris Hilton said the stars are blind. People said that love is blind. We even have three blind mice. It makes me wonder what else in this world can be blind? Yes, even humans can turn or be born blind. Humans are always blinded by things that they desire, from love to money, from passion to everything else we could be blinded with. Some people would even kill for the attentive desire of theirs.

I’ve read lots of articles that some people would kill for their own or for someone else’s blinded reasons. Let’s see what we would read and hear from time to time. I think most of us heard about drug-addict sons killing moms for money, moms and dads taking their abnormal kids’ life because they couldn’t live with the child being physically and mentally retarded, You also have wacko wives that killed their husbands because their husbands paid more attention to World Cup matches rather than having sex with her at night before bed and you also have emotionally blinded people. Mainly like love blind. Love for what? Attention, feelings, money, drugs, clothes, shoes, techs, sex, you name it, anything. Pfft, we’re homosapiens. It’s in our genes to be blinded with anything.

This isn’t gonna be a long post. My main point is, every time I hear the news or read the newspaper and come across any news that mentions about murders, suicides, sues or even riots and political fights (they are no longer arguments), I would always think of the reason why.

“Why did it became this?”

Yeah, I’m that curious cat. I’d think and think and I thought of myself. Would I do that if I were that person? Only God knows how much truthful I was answering that question. Humans would lose their sense of self once you cross the line. I might too, if I think too much. Curiosity would kill too. It’s a simple calculation; Curiosity + blindness = you know the math.

I’m not scared or did I ever once think that I’d lose my sense of self because as much as I believe in any form of freedom, there’s always a red line. Yeah, any homosapiens would have to know how much you can travel. Explore but don’t lose your head, literally.

How do you define loving your environment? I define two things separately. ‘Loving’ means to care and ‘environment’ means your surroundings. Early this year of 2010, the Selangor government decided to make Saturday a ‘No Plastic Bag Day’. Well, congratulations. When I read the morning newspaper within my break time before late afternoon class, all I have to say to this is I was very doubtful how this decision would work. The Selangor government, Parti Pakatan Rakyat, had declared that Saturday is a ‘No Plastic Day’ at all hyper and supermarkets. Oh yeah, they just had to choose a weekend out of all the days. I understand why they chose that day but, jeez, as doubtful I was, oh well, we’ll see how it’ll turn out.

It has been almost three months since the declaration. I don’t know if it’s just me who is oblivious or stupid but my doubt has the right to be doubtful after all. In my view, I have not seen how much this has work for our society. Yes, I know it has just been three months but, I have a big doubt that it will teach Malaysians to save the environment. I am actually a bit disappointed as this is the only way our government had done to so-called save our environment. I am not saying this ‘No Plastic Day’ won’t work at all. However, I would say that it would take more than a year for the Selangor society to learn not to use plastic bags for grocery shopping.

Here are my reasons why I disagree. First, Malaysians are not that very courteous (no offence). If they can throw kulit rambutan or even kulit durian out of their car window while driving, I doubt that they would actually care about plastic bags. See how innovative Malaysians are? As harsh as I may sound, for 20cent per plastic bag used on Saturday, I don’t mind paying at all.

Second, it has been a problem for us to not have plastic bags on Saturday at any hyper/supermarkets. Why? You’re going grocery shopping. You don’t buy just eggs and milk, you buy many things, which I doubt would fit into 10 environment bags you bought compared to the plastic bag you would get. One of those environment bag cost you at least RM5. While a plastic bag cost you 20cents. Oh sure, I’d would buy the environment bag instead because it’s RM4.80 more expansive to save the environment.

Third, not using plastic bags on Saturday at any hyper/supermarket is very troublesome for everyone especially for those working during weekdays and only have weekends for grocery shopping and tending to their children that would cry all over the floor for a toy. Yes, those people who work during the weekdays would only have the weekends to actually spend time with their family. Better yet for them to face the hyper/supermarket with two trolleys of 1 month supply of groceries with no plastic bags. I feel sorry for you, but then again, many don’t mind paying 20cents. And hey, I’m not suggesting they should raise the price of the plastic bags.

Ok, I have complained a lot but I have my reasons and views. The reason why I disagree with the idea is that if you really want to teach the society to save the environment as you have said, then there are other ways. You can start at learning institutions; primary, secondary and higher learning. Kids and teenagers learn faster. They have better cautiousness, believe it or not and they get influenced by their friends very easily. Besides, not many Malaysians know how to use the rubbish bins. So, let’s start from there. I know that I keep my sweet wrappers in my handbag until I find the rubbish bin somewhere.

And yes, I have the biggest problem with the high-density polyethylene, which is used in the hyper/supermarkets. This type of plastic bag has the characteristic to crinkle, a greater degree of strength than other plastic films and a lack of ability to stretch. Yes, it decomposes easily but it is the most dangerous because it is made by various chemicals that will affect us big time in the future. It’s worst than those low density plastic bags.

Now, the question is, what should we do? Have you guys seen how the Western do their grocery shopping? If you refuse to purchase the environment bags and refuse to use plastic bags, then I suggest starts using paper bags. Paper bags are recycled and the easiest to decompose. It might be expansive for the government to work on this; to use paper bags but if you really want to talk on saving the environment, do it properly.

I criticised a lot but this is how I would like to express my opinion. Imposing ‘No Plastic Bag’ day is pretty heavy for people who… how should I say this nicely? Who some of them don’t even know how to use the rubbish bins. So, people, learn to use the rubbish bins and please don’t throw any kulit durians out of the car while driving. Thank you.

1. What is Islam?

The word “Islam” means peace and submission. Peace means to be at peace with yourself and your surroundings and submission means submission to the will of God. A broader meaning of the word “Islam” is to achieve peace by submitting to the will of God.

This is a unique religion with a name which signifies a moral attitude and a way of life. Judaism takes its name from the tribe of Juda, Christianity from Jesus Christ, Buddhism from Goutam Buddha and Hinduism from Indus River. However, Muslims derive their identity from the message of Islam, rather than the person of Muhammed (P), thus should not be called “Muhammadans”.

2. Who is Allah?

Allah is the Arabic word for “one God”. Allah is not God of Muslims only. He is God of all creations, because He is their Creator and Sustainer.

3. Who is a Muslim?

The word “Muslim” means one who submits to the will of God. This is done by declaring that “there is no god except one God and Muhammad is the messenger of God.” In a broader sense, anyone who willingly submits to the will of God is a Muslim. Thus, all the prophets preceding the prophet Muhammad are considered Muslims. The Quran specifically mentions Abraham who lived long before Moses and Christ that, “he was not a Jew or a Christian but a Muslim,” because, he had submitted to the will of God. Thus there are Muslims who are not submitting at all to the will of God and there are Muslims who are doing their best to live an Islamic life. One cannot judge Islam by looking at those individuals who have a Muslim name but in their actions, they are not living or behaving as Muslims. The extent of being a Muslim can be according to the degree to which one is submitting to the will of God, in his beliefs and his actions.

4. Who was Muhammad? (P)

In brief, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was born in a noble tribe of Mecca in Arabia in the year 570 AD. His ancestry goes back to Prophet Ishmael (P), son of Prophet Abraham (P). His father died before his birth and his mother died when he was six. He did not attend a formal school since he was raised first by a nurse as it was the custom those days, and then by his grandfather and uncle. As a young man, he was known as a righteous person who used to meditate in a cave. At age 40, he was given the prophethood when the angel, Gabriel, appeared in the cave. Subsequently, the revelations came over 23 years and were compiled in the form of a book called the Quran which Muslims consider as the final and the last word of God. The Quran has been preserved, unchanged, in its original form and confirms the truth in the Torah, the psalms and the Gospel.

5. Do Muslims worship Muhammad? (P)

No. Muslims do not worship Muhammad (P) or any other prophets. Muslims believe in all prophets including Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, Solomon, Moses and Jesus. Muslims believe that Muhammad (P) was the last of the prophets. They believe that God alone is to be worshiped, not any human being.

6. What do Muslims think of Jesus? (P)

Muslims think highly of Jesus (P) and his worthy mother, Mary. The Quran tells us that Jesus was born of a miraculous birth without a father. “Lo! The likeness of Jesus with Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then He said unto him: Be and he is” (Quran 3.59). He was given many miracles as a prophet. These include speaking soon after his birth in defense of his mother’s piety. God’s other gifts to him included healing the blind and the sick, reviving the dead, making a bird out of clay and most importantly, the message he was carrying. These miracles were given to him by God to establish him as a prophet. According to the Quran, he was not crucified but was raised into Heaven. (Quran, Chapter Maryam)

9. What is the purpose of worship in Islam?

The purpose of worship in Islam is to be God conscious. Thus the worship, whether it is prayer, fasting, or charity, is a means to achieve God consciousness so that when one becomes conscious of God, in thought and in action, he is in a better position to receive His bounties both in this world and the hereafter.

10. Do Muslims believe in the hereafter?

God is Just and manifest His justice, He established the system of accountability. Those who do good will be rewarded and those who do wrong will be punished accordingly. Thus, He created Heaven and Hell and there are admission criteria for both. Muslims believe that the present life is a temporary one. It is a test and if we pass the test, we will be given a life of permanent pleasure in the company of good people in Heaven.

12. What is the dress code for Muslims?

Islam emphasizes modesty. No person should be perceived as a sex object. There are certain guidelines both for men and women that their dress should neither be too thin nor too tight to reveal body forms. For men, they must at least cover the area from the knee to navel and for women, their dress should cover all areas except the hands and face. The veil is not essential.

13. What are the dietary prohibitions in Islam?

Muslims are told in the Quran not to eat pork or pork products, meat of the animals who died before being slaughtered or the carnivorous animals (as they eat dead animals), nor drink blood or intoxicants such as wine or use any illicit drugs.

14. What is Jihad?

The word “Jihad” means struggle, or to be specific, striving in the cause of God. Any struggle done in day-to-day life to please God can be considered Jihad. One of the highest levels of Jihad is to stand up to a tyrant and speak a word of truth. Control of the self from wrong doings is also a great Jihad. One of the forms of Jihad is to take up arms in defense of Islam or a Muslim country when Islam is attacked. This kind of Jihad has to be declared by the religious leadership or by a Muslim head of state who is following the Quran and Sunnah.

15. Was Islam spread by the sword?

According to the Quran, “There is no compulsion in religion” (2:256), thus, no one can be forced to become a Muslim.

The Junior Encyclopaedia of Canada says:

“Islam is the fastest growing religion world-wide” (The Junior Encyclopaedia of Canada, Hurtig Publishers, Canada, 1990, Vol2, p396)

What explains this phenomenon? Who is forcing anyone today to become Muslims? Muslims are not even engaged in active preaching in any noticeable degree. People are voluntarily coming into Islam because they find Islam makes sense.

Huston Smith discusses in his book entitled The World’s Religions, on page 256, how the Prophet Mohammed, on whom be peace, granted freedom of religion to the Jews and Christians under Muslim rule. The Prophet had a document drawn up in which he stipulated that Jews and Christians “shall be protected from all insults and vexations; they shall have an equal right with our own people to our assistance and good offices,” and furthermore, that they shall “practice their religion as freely as the Muslims”(Quoted in the World’s religions by Huston Smith, Harper Collins, 1991, p256) Smith points out that Muslims regard that document as “the first charter of freedom of conscience in human history and the authoritative model for those of every subsequent Muslim state”(p256)

So, was Islam spread by the sword? The following short answer comes from Ira ZeppJr, a non-Muslim, in his book entitled A Muslim Primer:

“It is unfortunate that Islam has been stereotyped as the ‘religion of the sword’ or that Islam was spread by the sword.’ The historical reality is that the expansion of Islam was usually by persuasion and not by military power. In any case, Islam cannot be forced on anyone; if profession of the shahadah (i.e. the declaration of Islam) is forced on someone, it is not true Islam” (A Muslim Primer by Ira Zepp, Jr., 1992, Wakefield Editions, US, p134)

16. Does Islam promote violence and terrorism?

No. Islam is religion of peace and submission and stresses on the sanctity of human life. A verse in the Quran says, [Chapter 5, verse 32], that “anyone who saves one life, it is as if he has saved the whole of mankind and anyone who has killed another person (except in lieu of murder or mischief on earth) it is as if he has killed the whole of mankind.” Islam condemns all the violence which happened in the Crusades, in Spain, in WW II, or by acts of people like the Rev. Jim Jones, David Koresh, Dr. Baruch Goldstein, or the atrocities committed in Bosniaby the Christian Serbs. Anyone who is doing violence is not practicing his religion at that time. However, sometimes violence is a human response of oppressed people as it happens in Palestine. Although this is wrong, they think of this as a way to get attention. There is a lot of terrorism and violence in areas where there is no Muslim presence. For example, in Ireland, South Africa, Latin America, and Sri Lanka. Sometimes the violence is due to a struggle between those who have with those who do not have, or between those who are oppressed with those who are oppressors. We need to find out why people become terrorists. Unfortunately, the Palestinians who are doing violence are called terrorists, but not the armed Israeli settlers when they do the same sometimes even against their own people. As it turned out to be in the Oklahoma City bombing, sometime Muslims are prematurely blamed even if the terrorism is committed by non-Muslims. Sometimes those who want Peace and those who oppose Peace can be of the same religion.

17. What is “Islamic Fundamentalism”?

There is no concept of “Fundamentalism” in Islam. The western media has coined this term to brand those Muslims who wish to return to the basic fundamental principles of Islam and mould their lives accordingly. Islam is a religion of moderation and a practicing God fearing Muslim can neither be a fanatic nor an extremist.

18. Does Islam promote polygamy?

No, polygamy in Islam is a permission not an injunction. Historically, all the prophets except Jesus, who was not married, had more than one wife. For Muslim men to have more than one wife is a permission which is given to them in the Quran, not to satisfy lust, but for the welfare of the widows and the orphans of the wars. In the pre-Islamic period, men used to have many wives. One person had 11 wives and when he became Muslim, he asked the Prophet Muhammad (P), “What should I do with so many wives?” and he said, “Divorce all except the four.” The Quran says, “you can marry 2 or 3 and up to 4 women if you can be equally just with each of them” (4:3). Since it is very difficult to be equally just with all wives, in practice, most of the Muslim men do not have more than one wife. Prophet Muhammad (P) himself from age 24 to 50 was married to only one woman, Khadija. In the western society, some men who have one wife have many extramarital affairs. Thus, a survey was published in “U.S.A. Today” (April 4, 1988 Section D) which asked 4,700 mistresses what they would like their status to be. They said that “they preferred being a second wife rather than the ‘other woman’ because they did not have the legal rights, nor did they have the financial equality of the legally married wives, and it appeared that they were being used by these men.”

19. Does Islam oppress women?

No. On the contrary, Islam elevated the status of women 1,400 years ago by giving them the right to divorce, the right to have financial independence and support and the right to be identified as dignified women (Hijab) when in the rest of the world, including Europe, women had no such rights. Women are equal to men in all acts of piety (Quran 33:32). Islam allows women to keep their maiden name after marriage, their earned money and spend it as they wish, and ask men to be their protector as women on the street can be molested. Prophet Muhammad (P) told Muslim men, “the best among you is the one who is best to his family.” Not Islam, but some Muslim men, do oppress women today. This is because of their cultural habits or their ignorance about their religion. Female Genital Mutilations has nothing to do with Islam. It is a pre Islamic African Custom, practiced by non Muslims including coptic Christians as well.

20. Is Islam intolerant of other religious minorities?

Islam recognizes the rights of the minority. To ensure their welfare and safety, Muslim rulers initiated a tax (Jazia) on them. Prophet Muhammad (P) forbade Muslim armies to destroy churches and synagogues. Caliph Umer did not even allow them to pray inside a church. Jews were welcomed and flourished in Muslim Spain even when they were persecuted in the rest of Europe. They consider that part of their history as the Golden Era. In Muslim countries, Christians live in prosperity, hold government positions and attend their church. Christian missionaries are allowed to establish and operate their schools and hospitals. However, the same religious tolerance is not always available to Muslim minorities as seen in the past during Spanish inquisition and the crusades, or as seen now by the events in Bosnia, Israel and India. Muslims do recognize that sometimes the actions of a ruler does not reflect the teachings of his religion.

21. How should Muslims treat Jews and Christians?

The Quran calls them “People of the Book”, i.e., those who received Divine scriptures before Muhammad (P). Muslims are told to treat them with respect and justice and do not fight with them unless they initiate hostilities or ridicule their faith. The Muslims ultimate hope is that they all will join them in worshipping one God and submit to His will.

“Say (O Muhammad): O people of the Book (Jews and Christians) come to an agreement between us and you, that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall take no partners with Him, and none of us shall take others for Lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are those who have surrendered (unto Him).” (Quran 3:64)

What about Hindus, Bahai, Buddhists and members of other religions?

They should also be treated with love, respect, and understanding to make them recipients of Invitations to Islam.

———————————————————————–

Almighty God is Compassionate, Loving and Merciful. The essence of falsehood is the claim that God cannot deal with and forgive His creatures directly. By over-emphasizing the burden of sin, as well as claiming that God cannot forgive you directly, false religions seek to get people to despair of the Mercy of God. Once they are convinced that they cannot approach God directly, people can be mislead into turning to false gods for help. These “false gods” can take various forms, such as saints, angels, or someone who is believed to be the “Son of God” or “God Incarnate”.

The original, unchanged revelations given to Abraham and other prophets(like Moses and Jesus ) reaching back to Adam all came from the One True God(The Creator). This common origin explains their similarities in many beliefs and values

However, over time the teachings of the various religions, due to a variety of reasons, have become distorted and mixed with made-man ideas.

The last Prophet and Messenger of God, Muhammad , who is a direct descendant of Abraham through his first born son, Ishmael, was sent with the Last Guidance, Revelation and Testament, the Holy Qur’an(koran) to amend and correct the changes and corruption made to the the “Torah” which was sent to Moses and theTrue Gospel of Jesus. To say the truth ,God preserved all the other Holy Books plainly by preserving His Last Book the Holy Qur’an(koran)which contains the right and the truth of all that was changed in those other Books.

This is why this last Revelation which was sent 1423 years ago has remained unchanged, not even a word or a letter has been altered.

There is not even one word of difference between two Arabic Qur’ans, anywhere in the world. There has been no disagreements in history among Muslims as to what should and should not be in the Qur’an. However, in the case of the Bible, even the most ancient manuscripts conflict with one another so that no two are identical. Footnotes in all modern versions of the Bible prove this fact.

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man’s ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

It was only natural for Almighty God to preserve the scripture revealed to Prophet Muhammad, because he was the last Prophet and Final Messenger of God.

Islam teaches us that we must pray directly to God without an intermediary and no soul can bear the burden of another and that the nature of humanity is good, and we did not inherit sin from Adam. Each soul comes into being free of sin.in Islam there are no priests or clergy — each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator — Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

The oneness and universality of God’s message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus’s mission and Muhammad’s mission; the Christians reject Muhammad’s mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.

As the Qur’an is the final revelation and Muhammad is the final prophet, humanity is obligated to accept it: “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost all spiritual good” (3:86).

The Final Prophet Muhammad said: “Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is messenger of God, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven.”

you can do that now as you are reading these lines is to pronounce the two confirmations and attestations of faith, here it is

I BEAR WITNESS THAT THERE IS NO GOD WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH ( ARABIC WORD MEANS ONE GOD-THE CREATOR). AND I BEAR WITNESS THAT MUHAMMAD IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER. I BEAR WITNESS THAT JESUS IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER.

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur’an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I encourage Christians and other religions to learn about Islam from Muslim sources and The Basis Of The Muslim Belief and not rely on second hand information which in many cases is distorted or contains a deep seated anti Muslim agenda. This is indeed a more scholarly approach

Now here’s a question. I was out with mom to buy lunch when I heard a couple of DJs on some station discussed about this particular topic. I personally answer a simple and firm, yes. I am not being sexually biased nor am I putting all the blame on men but it’s just a thought or more like a logic to this. Ok, let’s do an equation.

Psychologically, we know that physical attraction is first, putting aside the “it’s what inside that counts,” ok? Now, physically, you may short, tall, plum, skimpy skinny, extra baggage, muscular, short legs, long hands, extra fingers and etc. But, here’s the thing; it doesn’t matter what your physical characters are like, it matters when you will try to look good anyway; clothes & make-up illusion.

Physical attraction + yourself + science for beauty + what men think = pressure

Ladies, I know how you feel because I am one too. However, I personally say we women do get pressure by men, consciously or unconsciously. We buy nice, cheap/expansive clothes and make-up, we go facial treatment, we go to gym, we treat and pamper ourselves despite the many reasons like depression and such. We go into Forever 21 and get ourselves a nice cardigan, we go into Aldo to get a new pair of chic leather suede boots, we go into Bonia to get an in-style handbag for the season and we go into Lence to get a nice short dress. Next we go into Bobbi Brown to get a new set of eye shadows, we go into M.A.C to get a new mascara, we go into Shiseido to get a new colour of lip gloss and we go into Elizabeth Arden to get a new compact powder.

Women initially look good for men. To impress men. Some would even go to the extent of going under the knife. I realised this topic may be sensitive and I may sound gender biased but let us focus on the women in this page. Some women may have gone through a roller coaster depression after rejection. Now, she has two choices; get really depressed in front of the television with bags of chips and carbonated drinks/beer OR she gets back up and fix herself head to toe. That is when the lots of shopping and pampering comes in.

Certain men would say that women should keep it natural; I agree but they say it is unneeded for make-up; not quite. The general definition for make-up is those blusher, foundation and eye shadow thick sorta thing. I don’t mean that. Make-up is pretty much like lip gloss and a little liquid eye liner; simple and chic. Men, don’t get the wrong idea that a concealer hides everything, not her character but just a few zits or scars. She might be ashamed of it so let her feel good with the concealer. We’re not hiding anything from you, it’s just that we would like to look more presentable.

It’s ironic. Men complain that women take time to get ready but certain of them don’t give a second look to the physically unattractive one. Yes, you have a type so do we. And men complain that we wear make-up and many facial treatment but yet they don’t realise that it’s partly to impress them too. Women take at least an hour to get ready, to look nice and presentable so, you’re the one who she looks pretty for. So, don’t whine when she might takes hours to get ready.

I am not saying that we should forget about matters of the heart but don’t deny that you’d look for the outside first anyway.

Whether it’s positive or negative, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that it’s peer pressure what makes us who we are in developing into a complete person or being. No human is excluded from this, even Superman and Spiderman are affected by it too or else they wouldn’t be hiding behind to mask and changed into being a superhero in a telephone booth or hanging around their web.

I am pressured too. By everyone around me. Yes, I don’t care but, specifically, I feel pressured when someone is better than me. I have a competitive complex. I don’t like it when I can’t do simple things. I feel pressured by my boyfriend since he knows how create things with designing software.

There are many other things that I feel pressure about but somehow, I could never bother shutting people’s mouth. I am never an angel nor am I ever a devil. Certainly, I know I am human. As far as I know and I am concern about, last time I checked, humans are vulnerable and they are definitely not God sent or else you’d be an angel with perfect white wings.

Either way, you’re a human and other humans judge another human, whether you’re a human with perfect white no-ill-intention heart or you were devil but reborn as a human, people can still talk about you the way they judge you. Even if you are truly a nice person, if I don’t like you because you’re nice, I can still label you as a bad person.

Ignorance is bliss. Truly. I am always ignorant when people talk about me because I talk about people too. Unsatisfactory is something normal when you’re a human. You’re always unsatisfied about something; yourself, your friend, your elder sister, your younger brother, your neighbour, your cat or fish, your best friend, your previous maid, the waitress that works at a cafe nearby your house, a damn retard stranger that has silky smooth hair or just about anyone on this corrupted earth.

I have been through this every time I’m in a community. I pretty sure almost everyone had too. If you haven’t, you just have to wait and it’ll come your way eventually. Don’t worry, it won’t kill you physically. It is true by right, you have to input yourself within the community, follow the community as it is but as I stand straight on my grey line, I find it tiresome to keep up with it. Why the hell should I follow you when I am not able to put on my black mask?

When I turned 16, I have decided I had enough of keeping up. I prefer being selfish and not let others become selfish. I’ll let others keep up with me. If you refuse, you’re fine to leave.

“If you can’t accept me at my worst, what makes you think you deserve my best?”

- Marilyn Monroe

Dear blog,

I’d share a quote of laughter. Now, let’s get back to sharing views and opinions. Ok, what did I just say? Sharing views and opinions, am I right? Yes, that’s a blog. And this writer right here, the one who published this post and the owner of this blog is a student. A university student to be precise.

Now, I have a dream. Not exactly but it’s there in my head and in heart of among the desired wants and needs.

1. To be become a journalist.

First, it was to be a public relation practitioner. As time goes by, seeing how I do love writing and giving ideas of influence or just simply to write, even talking nonsense in my blogspot.

2. I chose to write.

Hey, I’m managing two blogs. It’s pretty much everyday that I have the want to write. My dad used to tell me,

“I don’t want you to work for wage. I know you because you’re my daughter. It’s more preferable if you work for adventure,”

Yes, I want to explore the world. I want to see more of it. Working under corporate is a good idea but now that I think about it, God, it’d be boring. Imagine, working shifts 8 a.m. till maybe 6 p.m? I don’t think I can survive for long. I can deal with the same routine every time.

Learning journalism for this semester was pretty good for facts and information but the real studying for exams is like; one page for one hour. Yeah, sorry, Miss Rossalynn, it’s that boring.

But, I love it. Believe it or not. Not the boring ‘snore snore’ part of studying. It’s the part where you finally know that journalists are ‘knights’. They fight for society’s rights. What you have and need to know about everything. But that doesn’t mean you have or need to know about everything, even what kind of shaver the PM is using, not till that extent.

Journalistic’ Ethics:

Fairness and objectivity

Compassion vs. Policy

Privacy vs. Public’s rights to know

Misrepresentation by reporters

Conflict of interests

Anonymous sources

Journalistic arrogance

Plagiarism

Knowing those and the journalists’ obligation to the government and the society, I figured that a journalist’s responsibility doesn’t end by just writing. It starts with the idea before writing it down and ends with the after publishing consequences.

The process of producing an article that is honest, fair and accurate is a hard task. Balancing to be in the middle ground. I used to say this and sticking with it,

There is no middle ground anywhere in this world. It’s either you’re on the left side or right side of the street.

How would you do it?

3. As much as I hate politics, I indulge myself in it.

Sadly and unfortunately, yes, I do. Gah! They are bunch of clowns with single-wheeled cycle, elephants and people walking on the stick and blowing fire from their mouths. It’s funny. Ok, I’m just being mean. But the real reason why I do indulge myself into politic is because it relates to economic and back to the society.

How government officials forgot what it feels like to be part of the society.

I believe that’s important. Being part of a community in order to understand them. Journalists have to be fair for both of these grounds.

As far as being the watchdogs, the media is a medium. For?

You

Me

Him

Her

Them

Us

Here and there, everywhere.

To dear good friend and brother, Aaron*, here is an answer to your blog post of “What do we want?”

We know what we want, Aaron. We always do. It’s just that when time comes in ‘desperate’ measures such in impressing a person that we really want to hold on to. I have always said this, ‘never try too hard’ because the outcome of trying too hard is you’ll get hurt, hardly too.

“To gain something can be a hard task, but losing it can take a matter of seconds,”

Definitely a yes.

Dear Aaron, everyone wants to improve. But, never sidetrack. Once you do, the possibility to lose something is even bigger.

Here is what I think. I look at politically incorrect things. You do too but, hey look, if you lose something, you gain something else

People come and go in our lives. The worthy ones stay throughout our lives. I apologise for what I’m gonna say now but it is okay if you lose her because maybe, God has something else store in for you. Not that I’m saying to be the ‘the green is always greener on the other side of the hill’ complex but just now that sometimes, you just can’t push it no matter how much you’ll cry later on.

What’s life without risks, eh?

Karma.

It makes the world go round.

This isn’t a news that made the headline of the News Straits Times or Utusan Malaysia or is it a gossip of the year like Lindsay Lohan is a lesbian or is this an article. This is just a piece of advice written by me from my own experience to my dear readers.

My blog may not be a good or the best piece of blog that people worship but I know this will somehow help you if you’re facing this situation with certain type of “unique” people.

Betrayal. Backstab. Lies. Ditch. Friendship. Family. Romance. Trust. Faith. Hope. Betterment.

Honestly, never try hard to fit in. It causes you to lose faith in yourself.

Too many things had happened that I lost trust in Serena*. It saddens me to see what have become of her, not that she became a monster or such but well, if you consider betraying almost every friend of yours is an act of a monster, then yeah, maybe.

Serena betrayed me once though I didn’t mind the petty little lies since it has nothing to do with me. The shoulder I expected to cry on was her wasn’t there when I cried a river when my grandmother had passed away.

Disappointment. Frustration. Depression. Anger. Unsatisfaction.

I couldn’t forgive her.

But yet, I wasn’t the only one. A few others had a ‘talk’ with her. Never in life there had been such gentle confrontation like we did to her. What gave me a sad feeling was she had such emotion that betrayed nothing.

The act of innocence.

I’ve felt disappointment and symphatised her but enough is enough.

Phatic communication does not work for a deep and meaningful relationship,

and,

knowing what friends are.
